Lieutenant Governor's Race
by Bob Seay
WRNI (October 24, 2006)

The three candidates for lieutenant governor in Rhode Island have quite different backgrounds. One has no experience in state government. One is a long time lawmaker. And one has spent most of his life in the military.

Adjutant General Reginald Centracchio
We begin with the Republican candidate. Retired National Guard Adjutant General Reginald Centracchio told WRNI's bob Seay that he wants to build on his decade of work as the state director of emergency management.

State Senator Elizabeth Roberts
The Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor praises her Republican opponent's experience with the Rhode Island National Guard, but says her policy experience as a state lawmaker sets her apart. Wrni's Bob Seay spoke with State Senator Elizabeth Roberts.

Independent Robert Healey
The Democratic and Republican candidates have plans to use the office to address several public policy issues. The Independent candidate has a different agenda. He wants to be elected to abolish the office. Bob Seay spoke with Independent candidate Robert Healey.
