Mayflower: A Story of Courage After settlers from Europe arrived in New England, the Narragansett Indian tribe endeavored to maintain a peaceful existence with the newcomers. That ended with an attack on the tribe that drew it into King Phillip's War. That's one of the stories recounted in the new book Mayflower: A Story of Courage, Community, and War. WRNI's Bob Seay discussed the book with author Nathaniel Philbrick.
