For most Americans, the Vietnam War ended 30 years ago with the fall of
Saigon. Quyen Truong is a senior at Brown University who emigrated from
Ho Chi Min city to West Hartford Connecticut 15 years ago when she was
7 years old. Her father was an intelligence officer for the south vietnamese
and spent 7 years imprisoned in a communist re-education camp after the
war. Quyen tells WRNI how she learned about her family history and about
artwork she created based on her father's stories. (WRNI)
