Celebrating George M. Cohan One hundred and 30 years ago today George M. Cohan was born in Providence.
His name is no longer a household word but his songs are played every
4th of July. And now, a Providence couple is spearheading a drive to build
a statue of him. WRNI's Flo Jonic has more on this son of Rhode Island.
