New Blue Cross President

Two Vietnam POWs
We talk with author James Hirsch and the subjects of his new book Two
Souls Indivisible. The book tells the story of Fred Cherry, a black pilot
and Porter Halyburton, a white southern officer. They were placed together
by the North Vietnamese believing their racial differences would help
break the two men. Cherry and Halyburton say the friendship they developed
saved their lives.
