for him to stand aside amid ongoing controversy.
ARCHITECTS UNVEIL PLAN FOR G-TECH BUILDING
Architects were encouraged this week with a vote of confidence for their
initial design proposal for G-tech's new corporate headquarters across
from Providence Place Mall. While only in its initial design phase, Providence
Journal architectural critic David Brussat is concerned that the modern,
11-story building on the drawing board will become a reality and an eyesore
among more traditional structures. We speak with Brussat and with the
Capitol Center Commission's Design Review Committee chair, Will Gates.
POLITICAL ROUNDTABLE
Host Barbara Meagher speaks with Providence Journal political writer Scott
McKay and University of Rhode Island Political Science department chair
Maureen Moakley.
McNAMARA'S HISTORIANS
We speak with two Brown University professors whose research was used
in Errol Morris's Oscar-winning documentary film, "The Fog of War,"
a biography of former defense secretary Robert McNamara. We speak with
Jim Blight and Janet Lang, professors of international relations, about
their friend, Robert McNamara.
