"It's about time!" That's the reaction of one Rhode Island Republican to Senator John McCain's choice of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his vice-presidential running mate.  House Minority Whip Nick Gorham of Coventry says that while he wants to know more about Palin's qualifications, he's pleased to ses a woman on the ticket.  Gorham says the pick demonstrates that McCain is willing to "think outside of the box a little." A delegate to the Republican National Convention, Gorham says Palin's spot on the ticket will add excitement to next week's GOP gathering in St. Paul, Minnesota.
