The Providence School Board has begun accepting applications to fill four seats.  Any registered voter in the City of Providence is eligible to apply, and current Board members may re-apply for another term.  A public forum for the applicants will be held next month.  At the end of the application process, Mayor David Cicilline will select four nominees from a pool of finalists recommended by the School Board Nominating Commission.  Subject to City Council approval, the nominees will take office in January.
