Preview: Global Medicaid Waiver

At a public hearing this morning, Rhode Islanders will have a chance to weigh in on a plan to dramatically alter programs for the state's poor, elderly and disabled.  Depending on who's talking, they'll either call it a landmark agreement to save hundreds of millions of dollars or an ill advised plan to take away benefits from the neediest Rhode Islanders.

WRNI's health care reporter Megan Hall sorts through what's known and not known about what's called the global Medicaid waiver, as touted by Governor Carcieri in his address to the state Wednesday night.
