State Senator Lou Raptakis, who recently announced his campaign for Secretary of State, has hired Erin Arcand to serve as his Campaign Manager.  For the past four years, Arcand served as a campaign manager for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, directing fundraising efforts and organizing a range of special events, such as the annual Light the Night campaign.

"I'm pleased that Erin has agreed to join our team and support my effort to make the Secretary of State's office the focal point for promoting open government and small business growth," said Raptakis.  "Erin's extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, along with her strong organization and outreach skills will help make sure our campaign gets the message out that the change Rhode Island needs will start here."

Originally from Coventry, Arcand is a 2005 graduate of Brown University with degrees is political science and history. She currently resides in Providence.
